Adopt A HIghway

Are you tired of litter and illegal signs? Do you wish you could do something about the littering and illegal signage problem around your neighborhood, community or business? Now you CAN do something…you can Adopt-a-Road. The Gwinnett County Department of Transportation and Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful sponsor the Adopt-a-Road program, a litter prevention initiative in which citizens reduce the amount of unsightly trash and signage strewn alongside Gwinnett County roadways. Not only are these eyesores unsightly, they also show a decline in neighborhood concern for the area. Unkempt communities are more conducive to crime, decreased economic growth and decline in quality of life.

Wellington Lake and Riverview are partnering on four dates throughout the year to keep our community beautiful. Soon you will reveive an email with specific directions on how you can get involved.
